Congratulations to Alli Hunt and Leah Martinez for being recognized by VFW Post 8553 for being An Outstanding Spokesperson for Freedom. Both Alli and Leah were presented certificates and monetary awards for their essays and speeches about freedom.
Also, CHS's very own Mrs. Gaye Lynn Seawright was also presented with a National Citizenship Education Teacher Post Recognition Award. She was presented with certificate and monetary aware for promoting citizenship education in the classroom and school.
