The HS tennis tournament for tomorrow, Wednesday 3/1 has been canceled.
Whitney has moved the HS track meet to Wednesday due to possibility of bad weather Thursday. Field events will start at 4:00. 3200m will start at 4:15. Running events will start at 5:30.
Due to electrical issues at Whitney ISD, they will not have stadium lighting tonight. Because of this there will be no field events and running events will be on a rolling schedule beginning at 4:00 with the 2400.

Due to Rio Vista having a playoff basketball game on Tuesday, Tuesday's baseball games in Rio Vista have been moved to Monday 2/20 at the same times.
Next weeks HS tennis tournament in Waco has been moved to Thursday February 23rd from Wednesday the 22nd.
Due to field conditions, there will be only one softball game tonight at 6:00
The HS baseball scrimmage at Florence Tuesday has been moved to Monday. Start time is still 5:00
The JV boys basketball game at Keene Friday has been moved up to 5:30 followed by the Varsity.
Tonight’s Varsity BB games vs West will proceed beginning at 5:00 with VG followed by VB.
Due to official shortages on Saturday, the Varsity BB games vs West will still be played Thursday starting with VG at 5:00 followed by VB pending weather and travel conditions. A final decision will be made at noon tomorrow.
Due to the school closures on Tuesday, HS basketball games vs West have been moved to Thursday. The varsity games will be played in the HS gym starting at 6:00. JV games will be played in CMS gym with JVG at 5:00, JVB at 6:00, followed by 7th and 8th boys vs. Whitney.
A report has been made about a possible threat at the middle school.
Law enforcement has been contacted, and the incident is being investigated.
There is no imminent danger to the students or staff on campus.
More information will be provided once the investigation is completed.
