A Clifton ISD "Back to School" graphic for the 2026–2027 school year. Large green "Back to School" lettering appears above the district tagline, "Prepare. Plan. Succeed." On the right, a Clifton ISD Cubs backpack sits beside a stack of books, a green apple and a pencil holder filled with pencils. The graphic includes registration dates and times: Tuesday, July 28, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; Wednesday, July 29, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; and Thursday, July 30, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. A reminder along the bottom states that a parent or legal guardian must be present to complete registration and that students entering grades 6–12 should attend for academic advising and class schedule planning. The design uses Clifton ISD's green, black and white colors with subtle school-themed illustrations in the background.
Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) requires all students participating in UIL athletics to complete a new Previous Athletic Participation Form (PAPF) screening through Rank One before they are eligible to participate. This form helps determine a student's athletic eligibility based on prior school enrollment and participation. Parents/guardians should complete the required PAPF in Rank One as soon as possible to avoid delays in their student's participation.

Use the flowchart to help navigate the questions based on your family's situation.
