The Clifton ISD Board of Trustees voted Monday, April 15th to adjust May 3rd, 10th, and 17th to Early Release Days on the current 2023-24 School Calendar. Each campus will release at 1:00 p.m. on those days instead of 3:35 p.m.
Be sure to cheer on the Cubs and Lady Cubs tonight as they take on the Maypearl Panthers beginning with the Lady Cubs at 6:00 p.m. See you for Veteran and First Responder Night at Posey-Spitzer Ballpark!
The JV baseball game vs. Maypearl has been moved to Wednesday at 5:00. Varsity vs. Maypearl will still be Tuesday at 7:00 as scheduled.

Due to the weather, the baseball and softball games for tonight in West have been postponed. The baseball and softball games will be varsity only Wednesday in West at 5:00.
The start time for the finals of the district track meet Thursday has been moved back by 30 minutes. Attached is the updated finals schedule. The schedule for field events and prelims on Wednesday has stayed the same. There is only stadium seating on one side of the stadium so spectators are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets.

Due to excessive rain, field events have been cancelled at the Whitney MS track meet today. The 2400m will start at 3:30 and running events will follow on a rolling schedule.
Congratulations to senior Riley Finney. Riley won the Division 3 State Powerlifting Championship Friday. His winning total of 1745 included a new state meet record bench press of 550 pounds.
We will be moving the HS track meet to Friday because of the possibility of thunderstorms this evening. The MS meet will be canceled as a result. We will follow the same schedule on Friday. Field events 4:00, 3200m 4:15, running 6:00.
