Preparing for the 2026–2027 School Year at Clifton ISD

As Clifton ISD prepares to welcome students back for another exciting school year, the district is pleased to once again purchase the majority of classroom school supplies for students across our campuses, helping reduce back-to-school expenses for families while ensuring every Cub begins the year ready to learn.

While Clifton ISD is providing most instructional supplies, a small number of grade-level and course-specific items will still be needed. Families are encouraged to review their student's school supply list before the first day of school to ensure they have any remaining required items.

Save the Date: Fall Registration

Registration for all returning and new students in Pre-K through Grade 12 will be held at the Clifton High School Cafeteria on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, July 28:

    8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday, July 29:

    8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Thursday, July 30:

    7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Plan Ahead with the 2026–2027 Academic Calendars

Now is also a great time to add important school dates to your family's calendar! The 2026–2027 Clifton ISD Academic Calendars are available online and include key dates such as the first day of school, holidays, grading periods, early release days, parent conference days, graduation and other important events throughout the school year. Families are encouraged to review the calendar now to help plan appointments, vacations and other family activities while supporting strong student attendance.

Be sure to mark your calendars for Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 6th and the first day of school on Wednesday, August 12th. Additional information, including campus schedules and event details, will be shared as those dates approach.
