Good afternoon, CUB NATION! Just a reminder that Thursday, May 18th, is the CES Field Day. PK-2 events will take place 8:30 - 10:30 AM. Grades 3-5 events will take place 1:00 - 3:00 PM. All events will be held on the CES Campus. Parents attending this event will need to sign in at the front office to receive their visitor's pass.
Also, Friday, May 19th, is an early dismissal day. School will dismiss and busses wil run at 1:00 PM. Please plan accordingly. Thank you. - Dr. Brown

Good evening, CUB NATION! One week from today our CES 3rd - 5th grade students will be participating in the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR). On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, all 3rd - 5th grade students will take the Reading STAAR. To insure test security on this date visitors to our campus will not be allowed past the main office. Good morning, CUB NATION! Some adjustments to this year's school calendar were made at thie April CISD board meeting earlier this week. These changes include early dismissals for the following dates: Friday, April 28, 2023; Friday, May 5, 2023; and Friday, May 19, 2023. Each early dismissal will occur at 1:00 PM. Good afternoon, Cub Nation! We have been watching weather updates throughout this morning in regards to the CES Open House event for this evening. We will be canceling tonight's event due to the strong posibility of thunderstorms including hail and high winds, as well as the potential for tornadic activity. A report has been made about a possible threat at the middle school.
Law enforcement has been contacted, and the incident is being investigated.
There is no imminent danger to the students or staff on campus.
