Clifton Elementary hosted over 250 parents over the 2 events to kick-off Mr. Brown and CES's Parent and Family Engagement initiative. CES held these 2 special events in the gym for parents to enjoy a great breakfast with their Cubs, but also get to meet Mr. Brown and hear about ways to get involved at CES.
CES parents, all I can say is that you're all amazing! We have had the largest turnout of parents for our fall parent engagement events that I have ever seen in my 17 year career as an educator! Last week the ladies set the bar extremely high with 125 signing in at the "Muffins with the Mama Bears" event. This morning the gentlemen not only matched, but surpassed the ladies with 150 attending the "Pastries with the Papa Bears" event. So, looks like I'll be getting a haircut this afternoon. Thank you all for showing up. I look forward to great partnerships with you this coming year!
