By receiving straight 1's at the Region 8 Marching Contest in Troy on October 14, 2026, the Clifton High School Marching Band advanced to the Area Marching Contest, which will be held Saturday, October 24, at Bob Shelton Stadium in Buda, Texas.
Prior to their successful performance at the Region 8 Contest, the Band was named the Outstanding 3A Band at the Godley Wildcat Marching Festival; were the Grand Champions of the Harry Bradberry Marching Classic in Dublin; finished fourth at the Academy Marching Invitational and won the Riesel Marching Invitational Contest.
