Registration 2022-2023: Start Here

This page is for new student registration and bus contracts.

If you are looking for the parent portal, please use the menu to go to "Parents", then "Parent Information", then "Links"

Registration: Start Here

It is extremely important that you verify your physical address, update your contacts and phone numbers as well as delete any old contacts during the registration process.

Returning students may do the online part of the registration at your home if you choose to, but you will need to attend registration to fill out additional paperwork and have an academic advising meeting. Students new to the district or not in attendance last school year must do the online portion at the school.

There will be an option available for insurance for student devices (Chromebooks or iPads) at registration that you can pay for at registration if you choose to. The cost of the optional insurance is $25.

Here are the steps you need to follow to successfully complete online registration.

Step 1: Bus Contract for getting to and from school: If your child is needing to ride the bus to get to school and back home, you MUST fill out a bus contract

Step 2: Surveys and Communications: TalkingPoints App

Step 3: Parent Portal - complete all sections

Step 4: Students must visit during registration for other paperwork, schedules, and academic advising

Why do I need to do all of the steps?

Each step has a different way for you to keep up with what is happening at Clifton ISD

We have an automated system that will make phone calls to each home in case of school closings or other events, lunch balances and absences. You will need to verify the contacts on your student's Parent Portal to make sure that you are getting calls on the correct numbers. Be sure to keep your contact information up to date in the Parent Portal for this if something changes during the year. The numbers and emails are updated each night within the system. Also, please add more than one contact for each of your students so that we have a way to get in touch with someone for your student in case of an emergency.

Messages will also be sent via TalkingPoints, the school webpage, Clifton ISD App and social media accounts with information and event updates

Also in case of bad weather, KWTX Channel 10 will also have closing information if you do not have any social media or internet access. The TalkingPoints messages can be sent as a plain' ol' text message if you do not have a smart phone.
