This past Saturday, the Veterans of Foreign War held an awards banquet for the 1st through 3rd place Voice of Democracy Speech contest winners for this year.
Students from Clifton High School placed first, second, and third in this year's contest. They all received both a certificate and monetary award for placing in the top three.
Sophia Ritzmann place 1st locally and 2nd place at district.
Tristan Ward placed 2nd locally and 3rd at district.
Karsyn Webber was awarded 3rd place locally for her speech.
Congratulations to these CHS Students for doing such a great job with your speeches! Thank you for representing our school so well! Keep up the great work.
Clifton High School would also like to congratulate our very own Mr. Ted Jones for being selected as the district VFW Teacher of the Year!
