Clifton Middle School Principal Named Finalist for Texas Principal of the Year

November 26, 2018--The Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) has announced that Andy Ball, Clifton Middle School Principal, has been selected as one of three finalists in Texas for Middle School Principal of the Year.

Each year, TASSP recognizes outstanding principals from each region throughout the state based upon exemplary performance and outstanding leadership. After being named the TASSP Region 12 Outstanding Middle School Principal of the Year in June, Ball moved forward for consideration at the state level.

The TASSP Principal Image Committee reviews applications from the regional winners and selects the state finalists. Each state finalist is then interviewed by the committee and the Texas Principal of the Year is selected. Ball will meet with the Committee on December 8th in Austin. If selected as the state winner, he will be eligible to compete for the NASSP National Principal of the Year Award.
